A Chart of Possible Media Bias and Quality

There's a lot of utility with this chart from Reddit:

On the other hand, I would rate that piece-of-shit Washington Post as hyper-partisan left and mixed quality (on par with the New York Post.)

AP News is a good middle-of-the-road source.

The Chicago Tribune and the L.A. Times did not make the cut for this chart.

Nor did the Huntsville Times, sad to sad.

Seriously, I'm kidding with the last one.

  1. That chart is pretty much as I see it too.

Papers of the USA Today family are typically middle-of-the-road and bland.

  2. Many of the media on both sides make no pretense at objectivity, like The Blaze or Daily Kos.

American newspapers need Page 3 girls as cheesecake like the Brits do.

  3. Great chart.
    Pretty much agree with it.
    Thanks for sharing.

  4. I tracked the chart back to pigscast.com who got it from mediabiasfactcheck.com where I went but couldn't find the chart. They do have lists of news outlets. Their 'least biased' list has 304 news outlets on it.

  5. I do trust the AP more. The WaPo is as partisan as Daily Kos or The Blaze.

  6. I found this both funny and useful.
